It's DONE! My BFF from Michigan is in town and since she just happens to be a photographer I made her take pictures of my Leliana :)

The costume itself, sadly, is not 100% finished. I'm missing the armband and the belt/pouches. But you know what? I don't care lol I'm so happy with the way this whole thing turned out, my OCD is taking a break.

More pictures can be seen in my gallery ^^

You are such a flawless Leliana I can't even begin to explain to you the joy this picture brings me. Me and my friend :icondarkmoonwanted: are about to attempt Lelianna and Morrigan. Any tips?

Aw, thanks ^^ Tips, tips, tips...I don't even know where to start lol Don't make your own boots from scratch, it's more trouble than it's worth. And always make practice pieces BEFORE cutting your leather because cardstock is much much cheaper.

Do you buy your leather locally or from a specific provider? I know leather is expensive now from my SCA friends.

I get it mostly from Tandy Leather and hidehouse.com. It's pricey compaired to the fake stuff, but well worth it since it'll last forever with proper care. It looks nicer too, in my opinion.

Thank you! I'm pretty much self taught with costuming, though I did go to school for fashion designs. I would look up tutorials on youtube, depending on the sort of project you want to get into. I would also check out your local JoAnn Fabrics and Tandy Leather since they offer classes.

I'm very happy to see you actually use Scale Male for your costume. I understand the horror it is to work with. T_T My fingers are still grey
